Our client is an established authority in the field of channel development
and revenue enhancement through service renewal, outbound telemarketing,
demand generation, channel management and global response management
consulting on an international basis for the IT and Telecommunications
Industry.
Purpose of the role
To serve as sales support for client Customer Account
Managers. The role will include working with the client Account
Manager to generate incremental revenue opportunities in a large
number of established accounts, many controlled by partners.
The Service Renewal Account Manager will support
the client Account Manager and Channel Partners to define and close
large opportunities and will be responsible for closing smaller
revenue opportunities within these accounts independently. Leveraging
expertise, as well as utilising centralised tools, data and content,
designed to enhance the lead development process.
Job Role/Responsibilities
The Service Renewal Account Manager will serve
the client’s field sales and partner organisation (primarily
direct selling) by focusing on end customers and prospects, developing
opportunities and closing sales transactions.
The Service Renewal Account Manager will engage
customers and prospects in meaningful dialogue through a series
of outreach initiatives including outbound calling, email and direct
response follow-up. The service Renewal Account Manger will be responsible
for building and maintaining relationships with many key decision
makers within these accounts.
The Service Renewal Account Manager will utilise and leverage tools
such as messaging, offers and collateral, provided by the client,
to make the lead development, service renewal and sales process
efficient and effective.
Required Skills
• Minimum of 12 months business to business
telephone/field sales experience
• Strong IT skills (particularly MS Office)
• Understanding of solution selling methodologies, with the
proven ability to apply these skills on a daily basis, to develop
leads and close sales
• Working knowledge of the IT Industry, preferably tier one
vendors.
• Working knowledge of multi-touch communications strategies
and how to leverage multiple messages and mediums to gain interest
and close sales.

The general purpose of the Inside Sales Specialist

asset. The focus for the Sales Lead Generation and Management Service

Sun Account team. Rainmaker has selected Advanced Alchemy as their
partners in parts of Europe and the UK to run this programme on
their behalf in these regions.
An initial pilot phase (Phase 0) has been implemented as partly
proof of concept but also as a basis for setting the terms and conditions
for the future phases of the programme which will include risk/reward
elements. The scope of the services provided encompass Inside Sales,
Sales Support, and degree of Field Sales support made up of of both
permanent and contract staff. the initial objectives will be to
identify and qualify leads, create an initial Sales Funnel, making
appointments for the Sun Account Managers and managing the overall
sales cycle in order to free up a Sun Account Manager time to focus
on developing profitable, value added sales. The contracted sales
team will be targetted with conducting 10 customer calls a week
to both new and existing customers. TAM's will have a remit to cover
cover the full portfolio Sun products and services including systems,
